These terms apply to every vehicle transport you book with MAP Logistic OOD, through this website, by phone, by message or by email.

  1. 1. Who we are

    MAP Logistic OOD, EIK 208038880, VAT no. BG208038880, str. Ivan Vazov 3, 2600 Dupnitsa, Bulgaria; info@maplogisticltd.com, +359 883 232 888.

    We carry vehicles on open car transporters, our own or those of partner carriers. When a partner carries your vehicle, we remain your contracting party.

  2. 2. Quotes and prices

    • The prices on this website are starting prices per vehicle, for a regular car that runs.
    • The range shown after a request is indicative. It isn't an offer.
    • The price that applies is the one we confirm to you in writing (email, WhatsApp or Viber) for the vehicle, the route and the dates in your request.
    • Prices for businesses exclude VAT. Prices for private buyers include VAT. The price we confirm to you in writing states the price, any VAT and the total.
    • If the vehicle or the route differs from the request (for example, the car doesn't run), we tell you the new price before pickup.

  3. 3. Booking

    A transport is booked when we have confirmed the price and the pickup date in writing and you have accepted them.

  4. 4. Pickup and delivery

    • Give us correct pickup and delivery details and a contact person at each end, and tell us if the vehicle doesn't run or is damaged.
    • For pickups at auction compounds and ports, give us the release code or PIN.
    • Transit times on this website are typical times, not guaranteed dates, unless we agree a delivery date in writing.
    • For Serbia and North Macedonia, the customs documents (export, T1 transit, import) are arranged by you or your customs agent, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

  5. 5. Payment

    • Private buyers pay on delivery, in cash or by bank transfer.
    • Businesses pay by invoice after delivery.

  6. 6. Liability and insurance

    International road transport is governed by the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR). We are liable as your carrier under the CMR, also when a partner carrier performs the transport, within the limits set by Article 23 CMR, except where Article 29 CMR excludes them. Transport within one country is governed by that country's law.

    Our liability is insured with WIENER STÄDTISCHE Versicherung AG (Vienna Insurance Group), up to €600,000 per incident. This insurance covers our liability only. It does not insure the value of your vehicle. To protect a vehicle's full value, arrange your own transport insurance.

  7. 7. Damage and claims

    At delivery, check the vehicle with the driver. Note any visible damage on the CMR consignment note before you sign it.

    Damage that couldn't be seen at delivery must be reported to us in writing within 7 days of delivery, Sundays and public holidays not counted (CMR, Article 30). Send claims to info@maplogisticltd.com, with photos and the CMR.

  8. 8. Cancellation

    You can cancel a booked transport until the truck sets off to collect your vehicle. Once the truck has set off, you can still ask us to stop or redirect the transport, where that can be done; you pay the costs already incurred and any extra costs this causes.

  9. 9. Consumers

    The 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts doesn't apply to the transport of goods booked for a specific date or period (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(l)).

    If you are a consumer and we can't resolve a complaint together, you can turn to the General Conciliation Commission at the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection (kzp.bg/bg/pomiritelna-komisiya).

  10. 10. Applicable law and disputes

    These terms are governed by Bulgarian law and, for international transport, by the CMR. Disputes go to the competent Bulgarian courts, without limiting the rights consumers have under the law of the country where they live. For international transport, this does not limit the courts available under CMR Article 31.

  11. 11. Changes

    We may update these terms. A transport is governed by the version in force on the day it was booked.
