How much does car transport cost in Europe?
On our routes, starting prices range from €140 to €1,000 per car, VAT included. The price depends on the route, the vehicle, the number of cars and the towns. Private buyers pay only on delivery.

What changes the price?
Five things decide your exact price:
| What | How it changes the price |
|---|---|
| The route and its direction | Every route has its own price, so the same two countries can cost differently in each direction. |
| The vehicle | SUVs and vans take more room on the transporter than a regular car, so they cost more. How much more depends on their size. |
| A car that doesn't run | We load it by winch, which costs a little more. |
| The number of cars | A load of several cars gets its own quote. |
| The towns and the date | We price from town to town, for the date the car is ready. |
Where we collect the car doesn't change the price: a dealer, an auction compound and a private seller cost the same.
Why don't you charge per kilometre?
Our prices are set per route and depend on the number of cars, not on the distance alone. Two trips of the same length can cost differently, so a price per kilometre would mislead you.
What is included in the price?
- Transport from door to door on an open car transporter. We don't offer enclosed transport.
- Our CMR liability insurance, up to €600,000 per incident. What we pay for damage is set by the CMR Convention.
- A tracking link for every car. On most of our own trucks it also shows the truck's approximate position, updated about every hour.
Registration fees and car taxes in your country aren't part of the transport price. You pay them to the authorities when you register the car.

When and how do I pay?
Private buyers pay on delivery, once the car is in front of them. We never ask a private buyer to pay before the car arrives.
Dealers and other businesses pay by invoice after delivery.
Frequently asked questions
Is VAT included in the price?
Prices for private buyers include VAT. Dealers and other businesses get prices without VAT.
Do I have to pay in advance?
No. Private buyers pay on delivery, when the car is in front of them. Businesses pay by invoice after delivery.
Does an SUV or a van cost more than a car?
Yes. SUVs and vans take more room on the transporter than a regular car, so they cost more; how much more depends on their size. A car that doesn't run costs a little more too, because we load it by winch.
Can I get one price for several cars?
Yes. Tell us how many cars in the form. A load of several cars gets its own quote instead of the price per car.
How quickly do I get a price?
Within 1 hour during office hours. Outside office hours we reply within 1 hour of opening.
Is insurance included in the price?
Yes. Our CMR liability insurance is included at no extra cost. Compensation follows the CMR limit, in most European courts 8.33 SDR per kilogram of the car's weight, about €15,100 for a 1,500 kg car. If your car is worth more, consider insuring it yourself for the journey.
